The South Korean men's baseball team have continued their winning ways, this time defeating the United States in the Premier 12 Super Round opener.
With the Super Round moving to the Tokyo Dome on Monday, Doosan Bears' slugger Kim Jae-hwan's three-run homerun in the first inning, and Kia' Tigers' ace Yang Hyeon-jong's brilliant pitching performance helped South Korea to the five-to-one victory.
Including the first round, South Korea improve to 4-and-oh.
They face off against Chinese Taipei tonight in Chiba, just east of Tokyo.
A win would mean South Korea would have a significant chance of qualifying for the 2020 Tokyo Summer Games.
