Roads near S. Korea's traditional markets to offer free parking starting this weekend Updated: 2020-01-16 13:35:30 KST

Preparations are in full swing with the Lunar New Year approaching here in South Korea.
In order to boost consumption and revitalize local markets, the government announced, starting Saturday, free parking on roads near traditional markets will be allowed for up to two hours.
There are around 5-hundred-50 traditional markets nationwide.
To find out which streets have free parking, you can check the website of the interior ministry.
Police officers and parking attendants will be deployed to prevent traffic congestion.
