Typhoon Jangmi to bring yet more rain to drenched S. Korea Updated: 2020-08-09 14:10:40 KST

And not only is the monsoon forecast to continue for some time, Typhoon Jangmi is heading this way.
Together, they're expected to bring another 500 millimeters of rain by Tuesday to Seoul, and the provinces of Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do.
Other parts are expecting up to 300 millimeters from the typhoon.
Moving north towards the Peninsula, the typhoon is expected to pass by Jeju Island and Busan on Monday, which means strong winds in addition to the rain.
For the next couple days or longer, the rain will continue across the entire country, including the capital Seoul, where the forecast says it'll be raining until at least Friday.
