Warnings remain for Daegu and parts of Gyeongsang-do and Gangwon-do Provinces. In fact, most regions under heat alerts also had tropical nights with the mercury remaining above 25 degrees Celsius.
By the afternoon, Daegu could soar to 35 degrees Celsius. Gyeongju at 33, but you will still need an umbrella.
But there will be passing showers for most inland regions, and it could rain heavily 20 to 80 millimeters from this afternoon. Jeju could see rain through tonight.
Tomorrow there will be another band of sporadic rain in the central region then a last blast of monsoon rain will return on Friday and drop showers until Sunday.
