Now to the closing numbers on the market,
U.S. stocks started September off with more gains backed by strong momentum from technology stocks, noticeably Zoom Video Communications and Apple.
The Dow Jones and the tech-heavy NASDAQ both posted record highs.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 both closed nearly point-8 percent higher.
The NASDAQ added nearly one.4 percent to finish at 11-thousand 939.
Oil prices, climbed up too, with Brent Crude up one.one percent.
WTI also rose by point-8 percent to almost 43 dollars a barrel.
