Wall Street finished higher on Monday as major indices recovered some of their losses from the past several weeks.
Hopes that U.S. lawmakers might still pass another coronavirus stimulus package before the November election helped the hold up of risk assets.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P rose more than one.5 percent.
The tech-heavy NASDAQ also gained nearly one.9 percent to finish at 11,117.5.
Oil prices, climbed up too, with Brent Crude rising 1.3 percent.
WTI rose point-9 percent to 40-dollars 60-cents a barrel.
