N. Korea's imports from China spike to 6-month high in March at U.S.$ 12.98 mil. Updated: 2021-04-19 13:34:31 KST

North Korea, in the pandemic, announced what would seem to have been a total closure of its borders, but its imports from China rose last month to a six-month high.
According to China's customs agency, North Korea imported around 13 million U.S. dollars in goods, representing a significant increase from earlier this year.
This is also the highest figure since last September when it was at 19 million dollars.
The regime seems to have eased its border rules, and has been building facilities on its border with China in the city of Sinuiju, which it'll be using to disinfect the goods it imports.
