The price of LCD panels for televisions has plummeted further with the boost in demand from the pandemic seemingly fading.
According to market research firm WitsView , all types of TV LCD panels fell in price in the two weeks leading up to October 20th.
The price of a panel for a 32-inch TV came to around 44 U.S. dollars, falling almost 14 percent from October 5th.
High demand amid the pandemic had been pushing up prices since June 2020, but since this July, prices have been falling.
Industry watchers speculate though that the current supply bottleneck and cuts in production could drive up prices once again.
