S. Korea reports record-high COVID-19 tally with 4,116 cases on Wed. Updated: 2021-11-24 08:21:13 KST

South Korea's daily tally of COVID-19 cases has surpassed the 4-thousand mark for the first time.
The country on Wednesday saw a record 4-thousand 1-hundred 16 new cases.
More than 5-hundred 80 patients are critically-ill, also the highest figure yet.
South Korea's Prime Minister now admitting the virus situation is worse than expected.
He added the government might have to implement an emergency plan in the capital, if the situation doesn't improve.
