South Korea's daily COVID-19 tally has topped 5-thousand for the first time in 20 days.
South Korea on Wednesday saw 5,805 new cases of COVID-19.
Domestic and imported cases both saw a rise, with South Korea seeing up to 5,431 local infections and 374 cases from overseas.
Meanwhile, health authorities are looking to tweak vaccine pass rules even further, by allowing more people to be exempt from the passes.
The changes will be announced on Thursday, but authorities have already made clear that pregnant women will be not added to the list.
