Former South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha, who's running for the top job at the International Labor Organization, has expressed her ambition to "make the world a better place."
Speaking at ILO headquarters in Geneva on Thursday, Kang said inequality around the world is deepening and solidarity is growing weaker a crisis, she said, caused by a number of global issues, including the pandemic.
She added that she'll support a job-oriented economic recovery and work to strengthen social safety nets.
Kang is up against four other candidates from Australia, Togo, France and South Africa, with the electrion to be held on March 25th.
