The United States has (quote)"no reservation" regarding dialogue with North Korea, reiterating Washington's openness to talk with the regime.
U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South Korea and Japan, Mark Lambert, said this during a webinar on Wednesday.
The former U.S. special envoy for North Korea added many promising things can happen for Pyeongyang if it is willing to return to denuclearization talks with Washington.
He then called the leader Kim Jong-un a "rational player", adding he didn't know what Kim was thinking.
