Prior to the release of their new full-length album "Born Pink" in September, K-pop girl group BLACKPINK's latest track "Pink Venom" will be released on Friday at 1 PM, Korea time.
The track marks a return for BLACKPINK since the release of "The Album" in October 2020.
On Thursday, their agency YG Entertainment said the group's "Born Pink" album has already sold over 1.5 million copies in pre-orders in just a week perhaps putting it on the way to becoming a multi-million seller.
Since their 2016 debut, BLACKPINK rose to fame with hits including "Boombayah," "Kill This Love" and "How You Like That."
The group kicks off their world tour in Seoul on October 15th which will be followed by shows in the U.S. in October and November.
The tour will continue throughout the year in Europe then more shows in Asia early next year.
