COVID-19 Pandemic
Korea has dealt with several major crises in its fight against COVID-19 over the past year including the latest third wave of the outbreak that peaked over the holiday season. We sit down with our panel of experts for a review of Korea’s major accomplishments as well as areas for improvement in its disease prevention efforts. A team of Korean researchers has developed mobile isolation units that can be deployed anywhere at anytime to alleviate the country’s shortage of hospital beds to treat COVID-19 patients.
