Good morning. Cold air moved into many regions across South Korea last night. We have bitterly cold conditions to start the work week. The thermometer is closer to seasonal norms this morning, pointing at minus 5 degrees but it feels more like minus 9 in Seoul so dress warmly on your way out.
The cold winds have pushed all the dust away and most regions will have decent air quality, but a dry weather advisory is in place for the east coast. Please be careful with anything that could start a fire.
An icy cold morning in most regions, Chuncheon at minus 7 degrees, Gwangju and Busan at the freezing mark.
It's going to feel sub-freezing all day in Seoul Daegu, Gwangju and Gyeongju will get up to 5 degrees.
This week is shaping up to a cold one with freezing morning lows on most days, while some regions will see a mix of rain and snow.
