Isolated showers in central regions... monsoon rain in the south

Seung-min, we had a sweltering day today here in Seoul, but I hear some light rain is in store for us tonight?
Well, Jung-hee. Central regions including the Seoul metropolitan area will continue see sweltering highs close to 30 degrees Celsius. But amid the stuffy heat, there is a chance of isolated showers tonight. In the southern regions, the monsoon rain has returned.
In terms of the amount of rain, northern areas can expect 5 to 40 millimeters. For southern regions, 5 to 20 millimeters are expected. In Jeju, we'll be seeing relatively heavy rain of 20 to 60 millimeters along with some thunder and lightning.
Sunny spells will return tomorrow. Seoul will start the day at 20 degrees Celsius, Daegu and Gyeongju at 18 degrees.
For the daytime, Seoul will reach 29 degrees. Chuncheon will see sweltering weather of 30 degrees.
On Sunday, another rain front is set to return. By next Tuesday, we'll be seeing heavy rain all across the nation, including the capital.
For Korea's neighbors, Tokyo will see rainy spells throughout the weekend.
