Rain heavily on and off on Jeju, passing rain across Korea

Good afternoon, have a small umbrella handy as you head out today. It's forecast to rain heavily on and off on Jeju Island through the middle of the afternoon. Jeju will get 30 to 80 millimeters of rain. Seoul and Chungcheongnam-do Province will see showers due to a weak trough of low pressure, eastern parts of the country could see passing rains as well.
It's Soseo today according to the seasonal indicator, around this time of year sweltering heat sets in. Southern parts of the country will notice a big rise in highs this afternoon, but Seoul will be slightly cooler at 28 degrees, which is right around the seasonal norms.
The high in Gwangju will be 30 degrees, Daejeon at 29, we'll see sunshine mixed with clouds when it doesn't rain.
Sudden rains in store for the capital region tomorrow while a monsoonal front will drop rain nationwide on Friday and Saturday.
