New satellite images suggest North Korea's nuclear program could be active at a previously undeclared facility.
The images were analyzed by researchers at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies.
Speaking to CNN, one of the researchers, Jeffrey Lewis, said the facility has all the signatures of a nuclear facility, including a security perimeter, on-site housing and an underground facility.
Responding to the news, South Korea's defense ministry said it would not comment on the results of research by a private organization, but they are closely monitoring the facility.
