Well, Jung-hee. The monsoon is back again as the seasonal rain front has returned in the south. Rain has already started falling on Jeju island and showers are set to spread nationwide by dawn tomorrow. There could be some thunder and lightning so please be extra careful when you're heading out.
In terms of precipitation, the heaviest rain will be concentrated in the south. Along the coastal areas of the southeast and in the mountainous areas of Jeju island, 200 millimeters are in forecast. Expect up to 5 to 40 millimeters in central regions and Jeollabuk-do Province.
For tomorrow, we can expect rainy spells all across the nation. Seoul and Gwangju will start off at 23 degrees Celsius and Busan at 22.
Showers are set to bring much needed relief from sweltering heat. Seoul and Gwangju will reach 28 degrees, and Busan at 25.
Most of the rain is expected to ease by Saturday morning. For central regions, including Seoul, the forecast is dry for the weekend.
For Korea's neighbors, a heavy rain alert is in effect across Japan and torrential downpours may strike large parts of the country, including Tokyo.
I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.
