Heavy monsoon rain on south to spread nationwide

Good morning, a monsoonal front is dropping heavy rain on Jeju and southern parts of the country. Parts of Jeju have seen more than 200 millimeters of rainfall already, while Mokpo is seeing downpours right now.

In fact, a heavy rain warning has been issued for Jeju and parts of Jeollanam-do Province. They are seeing millimeters a hour. There's also a heavy rain advisory for south coast regions, including Ulsan, Daegu, Busan and Gwangju.

Expect up to 80 millimeters for regions under heavy rain warnings, Seoul and its surrounding regions will be seeing 10 to 40 millimeters through tomorrow morning.

Checking on our readings for the day, morning lows are similar to yesterday.. Seoul and Gwangju at 23 and 22.

Afternoon temperatures will be 4 to 6 degrees lower today hovering in the upper twenties. Leave home a bit early so congested roads won't delay you .
