S. Korean gov't to provide 47 mil. face masks to elementary, middle and high school students

As part of efforts to stem the further spread of COVID-19, the South Korean government will provide 47 million face masks to elementary, middle and high school students in the latter half of the year.
According to the finance ministry on Monday, over 7-million U.S. dollars from the country's third supplementary budget will be used to secure the face masks.
Around 5.5 million children will get eight masks eachon top of the ones their schools offer.
The government will also spend around 42 million dollars on an influenza vaccine and improving dining culture at schools to prevent the virus spreading.
