With the U.S. putting a hold on additional tariffs on Chinese goods in a bid to resolve their trade war, Beijing has responded in kind.
The Chinese State Council's customs tariff commission said Sunday it was suspending additional tariffs on U.S. imports that were scheduled to take effect on noon that day.
The goods include American vehicles, auto parts, corn and wheat.
Tariffs that have already been implemented will remain in place.
The world's two largest economies on Friday agreed to a "phase one" deal to end their months-long trade war.
