Good morning, it's a wet one to start the work week. Heavy monsoon rain is falling in southern parts of the country with parts of Chungcheong-do, Jeolla-do and Gyeongsang-do Provinces already seeing more than 100 millimeters over the last 16 hours.
In fact, a heavy rain warning has been issued for the Jeolla-do Provinces, and parts of Chungcheonnam-do Province. We have advisories for the rest of the south of the country. A strong wind advisory is in place for parts of the south west coast.
Through tomorrow afternoon, expect up to 100 millimeters for southern regions, east coast up to 150 millimeters, Seoul and rest of regions will get 10 to 80 millimeters.
Temperatures will stay on the cool side in the upper teens for most parts while Jeju is waking up to very warm morning at 27 degrees
Afternoon temperatures will be only in the low twenties for most parts, Gwangju warmer at 26 degrees, Seoul at 23 degrees - 3 degrees lower than yesterday.
