Clear skies in inland regions...rain in store for eastern coasts tonight Updated: 2020-09-24 17:06:03 KST

Most of the nation will continue to see clear skies, with the exception of the east coast.
Let's turn to our Lee Seung-min at the Weather Center.
Seung-min, we have been experiencing somewhat pleasant autumn weather during the day but it can get quite chilly at night.

Right, Conn-young. As we enter the fall season, the biggest concern is always about the temperature changes. Especially in inland regions, we commonly deal with large diurnal temperature changes that is a very chilly night followed by a quite warm day. So it’s important to wear enough layers to help regulate body temperatures.

We also have some rain in store on coastlines tonight. Coastal areas of Gangwon-do Province will receive the most amount of rain with up to 150 millimeters. Thunder and lightning may even follow. Parts of the south coast can expect less than five millimeters.

Most parts of the nation will begin the day with cloudy skies. Seoul will start off at 16 degrees Celsius.

Daytime highs will hit 25 degrees Celsius in Seoul and Busan. Daejeon and Daegu will top 26 degrees.

Rain on eastern coastlines is set to last until Saturday. Other areas can expect cool autumn weather.

Meanwhile, the air quality tomorrow is set to stand at level 'good' all across the nation.

That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
