Good morning, it's raining on the east coast. It's heavier for eastern parts of Gangwon-do Province, falling at 20 millimeters an hour. There is also a heavy rain advisory in place for mountainous regions.
20 to 60 millimeters of rain will fall through early Sunday in Gangwon-do, with a chance of passing rain in the Jeollanam-do and Chungcheong-do Provinces.
The rest of us will see passing clouds in the morning. Morning lows in most major cities are in the mid to upper teens, similar to the same time yesterday.
Top readings will be slightly higher today ranging from 23 to 26 degrees Celsius. The skies will be brighter in the afternoon.
The east coast will have a wet weekend while the rest of us will be under mostly sunny skies. But wide temperature gaps will persist so dress accordingly.
