Biden vows to strengthen Seoul-Washington alliance, press towards denuclearization of N. Korea Updated: 2020-10-30 17:36:29 KST

U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden vows to strengthen South Korea-U.S. alliance if elected president.
In a contributing piece to the Seoul-based Yonhap News Agency titled 'Hope for Our Better Future,' Biden said he would not "extort Seoul with reckless threats to remove troops" and would press towards the denuclearization of North Korea through "principled diplomacy."
Reciting the Seoul-Washington alliance catch phrase, "We Go Together," the former Vice President stressed that it was "forged in blood" and vowed to work toward reuniting families separated by the Korean War.
