Senior ministry officials of South Korea and China have met virtually to discuss ways for the two countries to work together economically in the future.
Seoul's second vice minister Choi Jong-moon and Chinese Vice Commerce Minister Ren Hongbin met via video conference on Tuesday to hold a joint economic committee session.
Marking the 30 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries next year South Korea has urged for close communication for smooth imports of urea.
And stressed the need for cooperation from China in the cultural field -- for games and movies.
China suggested cooperation in the digital and low-carbon economy with South Korea.
