The U.S. Defense Secretary, Lloyd Austin, arrived in Seoul this afternoon for talks with his South Korean counterpart, Suh Wook.
They'll be together on Thursday for the Security Consultative Meeting.
High on the agenda is the planned transfer of wartime operational control from Washington to Seoulalso North Korea and cybersecurity.
Secretary Austin will be in South Korea for three days.
It's his first trip here since President Biden took office in January.
