Good afternoon. This week should be the coldest of the season in Korea, hang in there for a few more days it was another bitterly cold morning along with sharp winds with cold alerts reamin in place in most regions.
Seoul saw less than 1 centimeter of snowfall, which was enough to cause icy roads, but not enough to help the dryness in the air. Dry alerts remain in place in the capital and across eastern regions.
Highs will be similar to slightly higher this afternoon, Seoul at zero degrees, Daegu going up to 4 degrees. There's decent air quality nationwide while the rest of country will be under mostly sunny skies.
Light snow is in store tomorrow afternoon from the capital, gradually spreading to rest of country by late night, though the east coast looks to receive heavy snowfall tomorrow night into dawn on Thursday.
