As part of efforts to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, the city of Seoul has announced plans to make buildings more eco-friendly.
Through 2026, the city will renovate a million homes and buildings, which includes interest-free financing for energy-efficient improvements.
It'll also add infrastructure to boost the number of electric vehicles to 400-thousand, or about 10 percent of all cars.
The plan will cost around 8.4 billion U.S. dollars.
By 2026, the goal is to reduce emissions from 2005 levels by 30 percent.
