North Korea, meanwhile, has reported almost 170-thousand new cases of COVID-19 or as the North is calling it, a "fever" apparently because of its inability to test for the virus with precision.
The state-run Korean Central News Agency also reported one more death, raising the death toll to 68.
Since late April, the North has had 2.8 million infections.
Of those, roughly 83 percent of people have recovered.
Though the regime is operating what it calls a "maximum emergency" system to deal with the virus, it has not responded to offers of help from South Korea and the United States.
