South Korea has decided to send a third round of non-lethal aid to Ukraine worth around 1.5 billion Korean won, or 1.2 million U.S. dollars.
The defense ministry announced plans on Thursday to ship gas masks and mask canisters to Ukraine, which it expects to arrive in the country next month.
The supplies are to help Ukraine prepare against possible chemical or nuclear attacks by Russia.
President Volodymr Zelenskyy had asked South Korea for military support when he gave an address to the National Assembly by video.
The first two shipments included bulletproof helmets, tents, meals and first-aid kits.
