South Korea reported 9,3-hundred-10 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday.
That's around triple the figure from the day before when it dropped to the three-thousand range for the first time in 5 months.
However, Tuesday's figure still marks 12th consecutive day that the daily tally has remained below 10-thousand.
The number of severely ill patients now at just 68.
There were 12 more COVID related deaths leaving the fatality rate at point-one-three percent.
