Morgan Stanley forecasts the Bank of Korea will raise interest rates by 25 basis points for each of the four remaining meetings this year, resulting in year-end base rate of 2.7-5 percent.
Higher than its estimate from last month of two.five-percent with three 25 basis point rises.
It cited the BOK's continuous concerns over inflation and soaring consumer prices as key factors.
The central bank is not expected to take a "big step" -- raising 50 basis points at a time, as it has never raised more than 25 until now.
