South Korea's Finance Minister Choo Kyung-ho met with Japanese business leaders today and said the Yoon administration will support a strengthening of economic cooperation with Japan.
Minister Choo was meeting with representatives of the Japan Business Federation.
He said he is pleased that the Korea-Japan Business Council has resumed its activities, the council having convened the day before, and he said the government supports these kinds of exchanges.
Both Minister Choo and the Japanese delegation expressed a need to restore bilateral trust and build a future-oriented relationship.
Earlier in the day, the delegation met with President Yoon.
