Indonesian President Joko Widodo met with South Korean business leaders at a hotel here in Seoul earlier on this Thursday morning as part of his two-day trip to the country.
Relevant officials from the two countries also held talks afterwards to further address ways to advance joint efforts on digitalization and energy.
Widodo was also scheduled to make a stop at a Hyundai Motor research center but had to cancel due to his tight schedule.
Later on this Thursday the Indonesian leader will meet with President Yoon Suk-yeol .
Among the issues during the summit is that related to Indonesia shouldering its share of the expenses involved in the development of the KF-21 fighter jet.
