Bill Gates is visiting South Korea for the first time in 9 years.
According to the nation's top office, President Yoon will meet Bill Gates on Tuesday.
They are likely to discuss cooperation on the global health sector including the COVID-19 recovery.
Ahead of the meeting, the co-founder of Microsoft will sit down with National Assembly Speaker Kim Jin-pyo and lawmakers from the parliament's budget and health committees.
They will discuss a partnership on vaccine development and Seoul's continued support for the global health research RIGHT Fund that was jointly set up by the South Korean government along with the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation.
Gates will deliver a speech on the international response to future pandemics and South Korea's leadership.
