Bill Gates is visiting South Korea for the first time in 9 years.
According to the nation's top office, President Yoon will meet Bill Gates on Tuesday.
They are likely to discuss cooperation on the global health sector including the COVID-19 recovery.
Ahead of the meeting, the co-founder of Microsoft will sit down with National Assembly Speaker Kim Jin-pyo and lawmakers from the parliament's budget and health committees.
They will discuss a partnership on vaccine development and Seoul's continued support for the global health research RIGHT Fund -- that was jointly set up by the South Korean government along with the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation.
Gates will deliver a speech on the international response to future pandemics and South Korea's leadership.
