U.S. intel report says N. Korea may resume nuclear, long-range missile tests this year Updated: 2021-04-14 10:00:21 KST

North Korea could resume nuclear and long-range missile tests this year in a bid to pressure Washington.
This according to an annual report by the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence, which adds North Korean leader Kim Jong-un may take "a number of aggressive actions."
It explains Kim views nuclear weapons as the ultimate means of deterrence, adding the regime poses an increasing threat to the U.S. and the region.
Despite that, it says the North is still open for talks on its denuclearization.
