NSC keeps close tabs on N. Korea, prepares for further worsening of situation Updated: 2022-01-20 17:52:45 KST

South Korea's National Security Council has vowed to keep close tabs on North Korea after a series of missile launches and make preparations for a possible worsening of the situation.
In a weekly meeting Thursday, the members said they will closely coordinate with the U.S. and other related parties and make efforts to resume dialogue with North Korea for stability on the Korean Peninsula.
Pyeongyang has conducted four missile launches this month alone.
The NSC also pledged to take necessary measures to project South Korean nationals and companies in regions where military tensions are high.
