A new report by a global think tank suggests that North Korea has at least eight intercontinental ballistic missiles.
The report is by the International Institute for Strategic Studies.
And according to broadcaster Radio Free Asia, it estimates eight ICBMs, but says the circumstances are unclear when it comes to the Hwasong-16, an ICBM unveiled last year that can carry multiple warheads.
In terms of conventional forces, it estimates that North Korea has more than 3,500 main battle tanks.
The total size of the North's military, it says, is around 1.2-8 million personnel, including special ballistic missile forces.
According to the report, the regime continues to invest in developing nuclear weapons and ballistic missile transporters.
