North Korea's foreign ministry says it will deepen its bilateral ties with Russia, which it described as "strategic and conventional."
Sunday's statement, marking the second anniversary of Kim Jong-un's summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, said the two sides have achieved mutual cooperation across all sectors, including politics, economics and culture.
It said Kim has great interest in boosting North Korea's ties with Moscow going forward.
