Four South Korean fishermen and a foreign member of their crew kidnapped in waters off West Africa were released on Sunday around two months after they were abducted.
Officials at Seoul's foreign ministry say the Koreans are in good condition and are being protected ahead of their return home.
They were kidnapped in June, apparently by pirates, near the Gulf of Guinea.
The officials say another kidnapping in the same region has been also resolved.
That one involved one Korean and four foreign crewmembers abducted in May and released in late June.
