South Korea's new cases of COVID-19 today came to 25,434, the first time since late January that the daily figure's been below 30-thousand on a Sunday.
That's also twelve days in a row the tally's been below 50-thousand.
The number of deaths has been below a hundred for sixteen days straight today at 48 and there are 338 people severely ill.
The Yoon Suk-yeol administration is expected to discuss this coming week when to move onto what it's calling the "landing phase" of its virus prevention scheme, which would see the end of self-isolation for people who test positive.
The current "transitional phase" expires next Sunday May 22nd.
