South Korea reported 124,857 new COVID-19 cases as of 9PM Thursday, down more than 66-hundred from the same period a day before.
The 9PM figures mark a 15-percent increase from a week ago, and are 50-percent higher than two weeks prior.
Health authorities say the country saw a decrease in cases in the latter half of the week, as less testing was done due to the torrential rain in Seoul and the surrounding areas.
Also, concerns remain over the high death toll and the increase in the number of critically ill patients.
South Korea on Thursday reported 59 deaths from COVID-19, and 418 severely ill patients.
