New U.S. envoy for N. Korea to visit Seoul for talks

The newly appointed U.S. special representative for North Korea, Sung Kim, will be visiting South Korea this week to discuss ways to reengage in talks with North Korea.
Seoul's Unification Ministry said today that Kim's first visit as the new envoy is scheduled from this Saturday to next Wednesday.
Three-ways with this South Korean and Japanese counterparts are being pushed forward.
Kim is slated to meet with Unification Minister Lee In-young and Japanese foreign ministry's director-general for Asian and Oceanian Affairs, Takehiro Funakoshi .
