As Korea battles its most severe wave of the pandemic yet, consumer confidence is falling.
According to the Bank of Korea, the consumer sentiment index for July dropped to 103.2, down from June by more than seven points.
It's still above one hundred, so there are more optimists than pessimists about the economy, but the BOK says the fourth wave has had an impact.
The index had been improving for six straight months.
