S. Korea on Thursday reports 1,940 new COVID-19 cases

Our top story this morning.
South Korea on Thursday reported 1-thousand 9-hundred 40 new COVID-19 cases.
This is a big jump from the previous day's tally which was in the 15-hundreds.
All but 16 were locally transmittedand more than 80 percent from the greater Seoul area.
This is the 100th day that the country has seen daily COVID-19 figures in quadruple digits.
Following the three-day weekend, cluster infections were reported across the countrywith most traced to Busan.
