LG Electronics will soon be launching its electronic, air-purifying mask in South Korea, having already launched it in 40 other countries already.
There was a lack of regulations in Korea that prevented it from launching here sooner, but with those now in place, industry sources say it's due to hit the market next March.
This is LG's PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier, which has fans that circulate and purify the air using medical-grade disposable filters.
It'll be priced at around 200 U.S. dollars.
Because the mask had not been approved yet in LG's home country, Korean consumers had been buying the electronic masks online from overseas.
