To celebrate Kim Jong-un's tenth year in power, North Korea plans to hold international ceremonies with friendship associations across the world that support the regime.
The regime's state-run media KCNA said Friday that its 'Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mount Paektu' held a virtual meeting and discussed ways to hold events this year on a large-scale.
Such events have previously been held in North Korea, joined by friendship associations to praise Kim Jong-un and the former leaders celebrating the hereditary dictatorship with the outside world.
The committee said it will designate February to April as an "international festive period" and added that it plans to hold various events both online and offline during this period.
